Carve Your Keyboard Into the Desk

deardiaryMany of the workspaces we feature on Lifehacker go to some lengths to conceal computer equipment. This concept model goes in the opposite direction, carving a keyboard directly into the desk.

Marlies Romberg’s Dear Diary 1.0 desk isn’t a working model, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see something similar with a working system built in before too many months have passed. As reader Curtis points out, exactly what machine is being emulated isn’t clear — there’s a Command key, suggesting a Mac, but a two-button mouse, which is less like the Apple archetype. Whatever, it’s a nice decorating/organising idea for the dedicated geek. Thanks Curtis!
