Sony Ericsson Phone Offers Customised Covers

styleupIf you’ve already customised your desktop to within an inch of its life, this might well appeal to you: a newly-released Sony Ericsson phone will include the option to design your own cover for the phone.

Interchangeable phone covers are nothing new, but the option to actually add your own artwork to a phone isn’t one I’ve encountered before. The Sony Ericsson W508 includes two covers when it ships, but you can order additional covers of your own design via the StyleUp site, incorporating your own photographs and design tweaks. The covers are priced at $US14.25 each. Telstra is selling the W508 for $529 outright, or on a $30 a month 24-month contract.
