Money-Saving Ways To Use Evernote

We’ve dug on Evernote for all sorts of things, but Trent at The Simple Dollar blog finds it perfect for smart financial moves: comparison pricing, bargain tip recording, spending tracking, and, as at least one Lifehacker editor can verify, a great way to keep track of gifts all year long, so you can scoop up bargains people really want and avoid last minute overspending.

    @atomic.resistance:
    Of course it's an elephant.
    Evernote's motto is to enable you to 'remember everything' and as the saying goes 'elephants can remember' and they're known for having good memories.

    I've got Evernote on a couple of mobile devices (work bberry, personal ipod touch, through jott on personal cell). I'm constantly pushing notes to a category tagged "kindle" whenever I'm in a bookstore or come across a book review, etc. When I've got time I'll review on my computer and hit Amazon to stock up the Kindle.

    And I was just thinking it's pretty clever.

    I've stuck with the old EN 2.2 all this time because, at least from what I had read in the forum, the revamped EN no longer had the category intersection panel, which was for me an incredibly powerful function. Does anyone know if they've put that (or something similar) back in?

    I REALLY don't like evernote icon. It's just creepy.

    I like this article, a lot. I got set up on Evernote a few weeks ago, spent the time to get the iPhone app connected and even linked my Twitter account to it.

    But I haven't even posted a single note yet. I just haven't really given any thought to applying Evernote to my day to day life. Hopefully this will help.

    comparison shopping...um...

    Yeah. My G1 already scans barcodes and compares prices online and brick and mortar stores, as well as local area.
