I've known about this promotion for a while now and have managed to grab some great songs from it. Some of my favourites are the ones from Sofia Talvik, The Lemonheads, Logan, and Celldweller.

I find the interface for the site a little clunky, so I took a couple of hours one day and created a spreadsheet in Google Docs with a list of all of the available songs. Being able to sort the entire list by artist, title, location, and genre may make it a little easier to find something you like. Here is the link for the spreadsheet:

Actually, it's been there a while, and you can even download many of the other songs (including some current popular songs) on ReverbNation for free. Forgot to send a tip to Lifehacker, though. *sigh*

Maybe Orbit. Maybe you can setup something with Scrapbook (FF extension) and then do some command line fu or something to automate moving the mp3s to a directory of choice.

I discovered this last night somehow. Shared it with friends on FB. I'm not a music hoarder, but this sounds good to me. I have to do a download and see how the advertising works. So long as it's contained in the music player, I can cope with it.

@Kalgaroo: DownThemAll doesn't work. The download buttons on the page are not direct links to the files. Blurg.

@SnoringFrog: I don't have DownThemAll with me to test, but it should be able to do it. It lets you filter by filetype.

@Franciscoec: There probably are some like that, but I've never had much need for them so I don't know what extensions to point your towards. DownThemAll might be useful, but I've never used it so I'm not really sure. So far SnapLinks has always been sufficient for my needs.

Using firefox and the DownThemAll! extension filter by either /m4a or /mp3 depending on which file format you want. You have to do it for each of the 52 pages, but only once per page.

@SnoringFrog: It would be better than clicking each one. Although I've heard of extensions that download files based on the file extension?

if you don't want to dig through everything, you can just check out the featured songs on Windows' MySpace page. they're updated every week.

Best way I can think of is Snaplinks. Notreally the fastest, since you'd still have to go through 52 pages and click "save" and all that for each individual track, but it is a bit faster.
