GoVolunteer Finds Volunteer Work In Your Area

Want to do some volunteer work in your area but don’t know where to start? GoVolunteer lets you search for volunteer opportunities within 10 kilometres of your postcode.

The site, run by Volunteering Australia, also offers free listings for non-commercial organisations. As well as a general search, you can pick particular types of volunteer organisations you’d like to work for, or match opportunities with your existing skill set (there’s an IT category, though interestingly it overlaps with library services).
