I Disagree – (Fact: a mac can do anything better than a pc, if u make an app to do it !) I know so many people who use mac for everything and not something specific. Why do we need to live with Ctrl Alt Del and hung PC. Can’t we make the choice to live with a responsive computer which is clutter free ? Another thing: if u have used a ipod/iphone.. u know that apple products are not tested on users.. cant say the same for MS..

Add to that as a federal government employee I am not allowed to download etax at work and because I’m a Mac user, can’t use it at home. So I’ll have to take time off work to get my taxes done somewhere!

Not only has the ATO failed to provide Mac or Cross-Platform Etax software, in previous years. It would appear with the 2009 software they have gone out of there way to make in inaccessible to macs. Changing the file to .msi instead of a .exe. If it was a .exe I could just open it through Crossover. Why are they so STUPID???

I gave up on PC when I discovered that those on Mac don’t really need virus protection, Family members having Mac laptops for 4 years and NEVER having to have it … what’s that f word?… ah yes …. formatted….

It is probably something to do with the fact the PC outsell MAC systems by hmm about 20 to 1. Supply and demand, why invest millins into devolping a mac friendly etax when it will be use by probably less then 100 000 users at most. Same asnwers would go for the firefox question.
