I love the idea that the loyalty programs are somehow "free".

Everyone needs to shop. Theses loyalty programmes are free. So what is the harm if you have both cards
it has cost you nothing, and you may get enough points for a voucher. or you may get nothing.

The point scheme is as follows.
1 point for a $30 purchase then an additional point for every $1 spent over $30.

Another note regarding this card, as of now service cashiers are no longer permitted to allow payment for purchases in $30 increments.

This is to deter multiple fuel dockets being awarded to a customer. Service team members are under strict instructions not to allow any customer to gain this benefit.

FlyBuys points do expire after three years - https://www.flybuys.com.au/flybuys/content/information/faq.html#expiry.

Qantas Frequent Flyer Points earned through Everyday Rewards do not expire - but you need to keep your account active (to keep the account active you must have one transaction in a three year period.).

Customers who use Everyday Rewards at Woolworths and Safeway Supermarkets (including Liquor, but excluding Tasmania) and Woolworths HomeShop will start earning QFF Points from 22 June. Big W will launch the program on 16 July and the rest of Woolworths Ltd. brands (such as Dan Murphy, BWS, Dick Smith and Petrol) will launch sometime in August.

myerone is better - you get 2 points for every dollar and only need 2000 points for a $20 voucher. So only $1000 at myer compared to $6250 at coles.

If you think your getting the same points at coles express, your not - it actually cost $12500 worth of petrol to get a $20 voucher!!!!!

Elly, my family spends about $200/week on groceries, $60/week on petrol, some booze and quite a bit between Target or Kmart. If I put that on FlyBuys, plus link my credit card to it, and pick up a few bonus points etc, I get enough points for a $20 gift card every few months. Horses for courses I suppose:)

The amount of FlyBuys points I would accrue in two years before they expired wouldn't be enough to purchase even the smallest item in the FlyBuys catalogue. It's completely unrealistic.
