Quickly Navigate Your Calendar To Find The Day Of Any Given Date

Ever wonder what day of the week your 40th birthday will land, even if it’s some 12 years out? Turns out Windows 7 and Vista’s handy system tray calendar makes navigating future and past dates a breeze.

As you can see in the video, just click the date in your system tray, then click away at the date at the top of the calendar (between the arrows) to drill out to higher altitude views of your calendar. Likewise, start clicking specifics to drill back down to the date you want to view. The video says it all, so give it a view and you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about.

It’s not a new option, but the Vista and now Windows 7 feature is a simple but worthwhile one to have in your toolbox.
