MenuApp Is A Tiny, Portable Application Launcher Menu

Windows only: Tiny application launcher MenuApp creates a simple popup menu for any folder—giving you instant access to your files and applications without wasting memory.

Using the no-install-required utility is easy enough—just double-click on it to render the current folder—but for best results, create a shortcut and change the “Start In” field to the folder you want to show in the menu.

For the example, I created a shortcut and used my Dropbox folder as the start location in the shortcut, and then assigned a shortcut key in the properties dialog—but you can launch it from a shortcut instead. It’s simple, lightweight, and very similar to the more powerful Folder Menu tool we highlighted yesterday, but this utility only runs on demand—a good choice for readers worried about memory usage.

MenuApp is a free download for Windows only. For a more flashy folder browsing experience, check out how StandaloneStack gives you Leopard-style Stacks for Windows.
