Yahoo Image Search Offers Better Creative Commons Filter For Flickr
Lifehacker editors are, if nothing else, veterans at finding relevant, reusable images with permissive Creative Commons (CC) licensing on photo sharing site Flickr. So it’s great to hear that Yahoo now offers advanced CC filtering for Flickr photos through its own, more powerful image search tool.
While Flickr itself allows for filtering for images licensed for remixing/alteration and commercial use, Yahoo Image Search takes that search a step further, letting you toggle between colour and black and white images and, best of all, seek out a specific size: small, medium, large, “wallpaper,” or even a custom dimension.
In other words, if you need an image of a teddy bear that scales perfectly to your 800×600 brochure template, Yahoo Image Search has your back. You’ll want to click on your image results and ensure that the licence complies with how you intend to use it, but it’s an otherwise easier portal into the world of the free, creative work available on Flickr.

But I can't get this to work with DeviantArt. DeviantArt has a CC tagging option, but no way to search it. Does anyone know how to search for DeviantArt CC?

I've always used Creative Commons Search ([search.creativecommons.org]), but that's just because I've been too lazy to use something else.
