Twitter Adds Proper Search Button

Twitter has added a Search button to its main page, with results displayed in the main window in the same style as its existing feed of live messages.

Twitter began testing the search feature a few months ago, but has now added it to all accounts. It’s not a useful development if you’re using a separate Twitter client, but for the ever-growing ranks of Twitter newbies, it might well be the first realisation they have that you can look at older tweets.
