Tini.us Creates Secure And Feedback Friendly TinyURLs
Tini.us goes beyond the basics of URL shrinking with additional features like password protection and aggregated comments about the URL you just visited.
Shrinking URLs is handy, but of limited utility beyond reducing the size of your messages for microblogging and text messaging. Tini.us expands the functionality of shrunken URLs by allowing you to shorten the URL, include the ability to review the content of the link, and password protect the shortened URL.
If you’re sharing a URL in multiple places like your Twitter feed, Facebook update, and in a forum or two, Tini.us makes it easy check out comments about the content you shared in a single place.
Check out the link below for more information about the service or if you’d like to see what a Tini.us review page looks like check out this sample link.

@Edison Wang:
What about a kind of option that makes whoever enter the created URL enter through a proxy site?
That way workers and students will be able to share links with each other easily without being blocked by some firewall.

sigh..im working on a site that should have the exact (a little bit different) features of this site...
feel like idea being stolen~lolz...
i guess theres more innovations i need to find...

is.gd works just fine for me
@Jake Bailey: As hilarious as those were, and as much as they made me question the species I find myself allied with, linking to porn sites? >_>;
@mocka:
Proxy sites get blocked.

Scroll over the links to see the ridiculous URLs.

IT was great until I saw the "Recent Tini's" list:
-youporn.com - [tini.us]
-flickr.com - [tini.us]
-youporn.com (again) - [tini.us]
-mediafire.com - [tini.us] (why?)
And the bad grammar. "Lets get started"? No.

I'm starting to get the feeling that some douche is flooding this site with requests. Ever heard of CAPTCHA?
Jake Bailey
It seems like there's been a dozen posts on these "link shrinkers." They're almost useless and don't deserve half the attention this site is giving them.

@swsboarder366: I agree. If you've seen one, you've seen them all, and I feel like any one person could only ever need one (and I've never needed any of them).
Platypus Man
Couldn't agree more...
@Platypus Man: I use them alot... but you are right... I only need one and none of these have really convinced me to switch.
ANOPRAX

"Shrinking URLs is handy" - indeed it is; many an e-mail has contained broken links that needed reassembly. With a shortener that is no longer a problem.
