Use Taskbarn To Track And Manage Projects Online
Taskbarn is a web-based project collaboration tool with a focus on ease of use, transparency, and feed-friendly updates.
Taskbarn covers the basics of project management, including assigning due dates to tasks and marking parties responsible for completing them. In addition to the standard tools, each project is set up with a unique feed. Updates to the project can be published both within the Taskbarn feed and to an external Twitter account. Each feed update can be given a file attachment of up to 10MB—handy for tossing in pictures and voice messages to keep a group posted on progress.
In addition to task management and publication of project updates, there is a messaging system for keeping up with your fellow collaborators and a notes section for attaching notes and files that don’t quite fit into the task list. There is a 100MB limit on file storage, so if you’re working with bulky multimedia files, you’ll need some alternate storage space. Taskbarn is a free web-based service.

It would be great if you could sync something like this with svn. Anyone know of a project manager like this with svn support?

I wish they had a few more screenshots of the app to see if it's worth trying out.

@Junier Oliva:
Check out [www.unfuddle.com] - I use it for multiple projects - there are free accounts available for small projects/teams, and paid options for larger teams and more advanced features.
Full SVN repo per project, notebooks, tasks, milestones, tickets, a very responsive site overall and I'm thrilled with it.

Haha, laser beams and a 30k tank. Hilarious.
@DesignHobo: Jason has fun with his screenshots, it seems.
I've used [[unfuddle.com]] before and I like how it provides an issue tracker and a source code repository in one web interface.
It sounds like many of the comments on this thread are from software developer types. For this type of user I recommend using a client-based task management solution, like [[tasktop.com]]. A client-based solution like Tasktop can connect with both your source repository and your issue tracker and, IMO, provides a better user interface than most web-based approaches (full disclosure: I work for Tasktop).
dotproject, although not hosted, is also a great web based PM tool. If you have a place to install it (LAMP), it's worth checking out.
