TrueLocal iPhone App Maps Local Businesses

TrueLocal’s new iPhone app does pretty much what you’d expect: finds local businesses near the location your iPhone’s GPS is transmitting, sorted by category and with Google Maps integration if you want to track them down on foot or by road.

There’s no operational iPhone at Lifehacker AU HQ, but Nick at Gizmodo (who is invariably nearer the bucket of Apple Kool-Aid than we are) has given it the thumbs up. The TrueLocal iPhone App is free from the iTunes store.
