Send Evernote Memos From Twitter

If you’ve already admitted defeat in the war on Twitter dependency, feel better. You can now send notes to universal memory service Evernote from Twitter. Follow myEN from your account, and you’ll get a message back with a link-up URL. From there, you can direct message myEN for a private, 140-character remembrance, or add @myEN anywhere in a tweet and have it picked up. [via Digital Inspiration]

"If you've already admitted defeat in the war on Twitter dependency"

The Twit hype is something I can live without...Evernote...I can't live without.

so instead of sending it to evernote, you send it to twitter, which sends it to evernote? what?

I guess everyone has a different workflow, but I can't see how I would use this.

For reminders, I prefer Dial2Do -- I use Evernote for bookmarking, web clipping, and idea mapping.

Although an Evernote/Friendfeed link, that would be nice, so that my friends could automatically see any web clippings from Evernote that I mark with a special tag in my friendfeed.

dantheman12 It's much quicker to send small notes from a good twitter client than to send via the evernote client. It makes a lot of sense if you use twitter anyway. I keep a ton of little notes on Evernote, and, for me, this is the most exciting feature I've seen them add in quite a while. Also means texting to evernote is that much easier...

Haven't done this yet but I admire innovation in connecting different social networks and tools. I use the Firefox TwitterBar add-on, which could make this even faster. =)

This would be good in combination with launchy for a quick note from the desktop. The CTRL+ALT+N shortcut in evernote doesn't seem to work unless I've actually clicked the system tray icon at some point since starting my PC.

I think this may be of use to me: sometimes you tweet something to the world, that you know you'll want to be able to quickly refer to later. Googling your tweets can be tough sometimes if you can't remember the exact keyword. I still haven't tried Evernote, but this feature has me curious.

    Nice!
I find I'm mostly using Twitter for distributing links.

Connecting it with Evernote will save me the step of having to bookmark some of them separately.
