Feel like your willpower could use some boosting? Try brushing your teeth with your non-dominant hand.
That may seem like a minor change to make, but a study by Case Western Reserve University suggests that making small alterations to your habits like this can increase your mental flexibility and stamina for sticking to tasks. (And even if it doesn’t seem to help, the change in approach might also help you reach parts of your mouth that are otherwise ignored.) [via Men's Health UK]

Monday, April 6, 2009 at 4:04 PMWhat if you use an electric toothbrush? An electric toothbrush does most of the brushing, and all your hand is doing is guiding the brush head. It’s not doing the brushing- kinda like patting your head with one hand and rubbing your tummy with the other.

Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 11:01 AMThat I did do, but mainly to relieve strain on my right arm and wrist, seeing that I use a computer at home as well as at work. It took awhile, and I probably can’t game as well on the left hand as I could do with the mouse on my right hand, but I get on very well with a left handed mouse.

Operating your mouse with your opposite hand can be frustrating, but it is a great way to slow down RSI!!
