I have to disagree with the previous comments. I have found calibre to be very useful. It converted my collection of e-books from many different formats and organized them well. Yes, you do need to accept the programs organizational structure, but it’s quite good.

I agree to John! The network server didn’t work for me and the software made a mess out of my ebook directory structure. In the end it spat a lot of errors on scanning the folders. After about 10 minutes of use – I ditched it. What a waste of time!

Awful program! I had a nice directory structure for my sorted ebooks which it proceeded to wreck by putting books everywhere without asking me!

It also incorrectly tagged all my books and was unable to cope with my large directories (after 10 hours it was still only at 6% complete).
