Hulu may carry lots of up-to-date US programming, but if you’re sitting at a computer outside the States, you’re locked out of the fun. The quick, straightforward video above details how to access Hulu videos from anywhere using previously mentioned Hotspot Shield to create a quick proxy that makes Hulu think you’re browsing from the US. The video focuses on Hulu, but the method should work for pretty much any US-only site. Access Hulu.com From Anywhere

Stainless is a free browser demo for OS X based on WebKit and the multi-process ideology behind Google Chrome. It’s young and a little feature-light, but until Google officially releases Chrome for the Mac, it could be a nice alternative to the rough-around-the-edges CrossOver Chromium.
Windows only: iTuny is a free plug-in for popular application launcher Launchy that controls music playback and so much more. Once installed, iTuny adds several actions to Launchy that allow you to play, pause, stop, or advance playback, which alone is a nice start. iTuny doesn’t stop there, though; you can also rate songs, show track info, set the volume, search your library, create new playlists, display album art, post to Twitter, and more. iTuny also integrates with previously mentioned Snarl to display notifications when you invoke iTuny commands via Launchy. The installation and setup are a little confusing, so keep reading for a closer look at how it works.
Reader envador details how to make a sturdy iPhone or iPod touch stand out of a simple paper clip. Disappointed with the lack of support from methods like the previously mentioned business card stand or dollar bill stand, envador set out to make a stand that would stand up in the face of extreme jostling. The result is the simple and solid stand you see in the video. He was even so kind as to provide a PDF with measurements to help you build your own. iPhone Paper Clip StandDean and Ying’s Blog
Web-based task manager Remember the Milk is one of our Lifehacker readers’ favourites, and for good reason. The web-centered service has expanded since its inception in 2005 to work with tons of platforms, apps, and interfaces, yet it’s remained focused on doing what it does best—telling you what needs to happen next, no matter where you are. We wanted to learn more about how Remember the Milk was born, gets upgraded, and where it wants to go in the future, so we traded a few emails with Emily Boyd, one of the webapp’s co-founders, who is based in Sydney. Read on to hear Boyd’s answers to our burning questions about RTM. Thanks to Jason F. for the photo illustration!
Windows only: There aren’t many computer games that support dual monitors; the vast majority simply fail to acknowledge there might be two, three, or more monitors attached to a computer. In the best case scenario the cursor can leave the primary screen and you simply have to scoot it back into the main screen. In the worst case scenario games will crash or exit play suddenly when the cursor ends up outside the window of play. MouseJail is a tiny (3k!) application that will effectively jail your mouse cursor to the primary screen while the game is in session, ensuring you won’t have to hunt for it on other unused screens or risk crashing your game. Windows only: If you’re on a locked-down XP system without the “Run” command available, the Run Dialog Replacement is there to comfort you. The tiny, stand-alone app can be pinned to the Start menu (with a right-click command) or assigned a shortcut, giving you access to power-user tweaks like rolling your own app launcher, shutting down faster, and quickly navigating to any folder. Run Dialog Replacement runs from basic VB scripts, so installing it shouldn’t be too tough in even walled-off systems. Run Dialog Replacement is a free download for Windows systems only.
