Free router firmware DD-WRT, which we used to show you how to turn your $60 router into a $600 router, updates to version 24. The update features several new advanced features and the same excellent features—like Wi-Fi signal boosting—as earlier versions. If DD-WRT isn’t your bag, check out the alternative Tomato firmware, with twice the eye candy.
